It is not the end, is the beggining of the way (ours goals, dreams, objectives)

This course has been very important because the trainer teacher can learn many forms to teach, learning styles, analyze the important for: the motivation, read, write, listen, speak, etc.

Now I recognize I need to reinforce the grammar structures and vocabulary because I want to speak and write with fluency, coherence, intonation, well pronunciation, etc. for this I need to read books, listen music and take other courses.

I would like to do the TKT exam, but in this moment is not good for me because I need more preparation. I need to review the grammar, increase my vocabulary, consolidate the tkt concepts, etc.

I would like to take a pedagogy course and also the guide tourist course because is related with my carrier

I want to do many things but I prefer to have many different ways because each way can help me to grow into a good professional.

I think both articles are interesting, because you can read and reflect which are the best skills, aims, tools for teach.

After to read the article I can analyze: it is very important the teacher have:  knowledges, preparation, experiences, take a different course for to learn well, fun.etc.

He have to understand his compromise with the students, because the teacher doesn’t have the preparation he can´t complete the course and aims and mainly the students couldn’t learn well and get knowledges

About the second article, the conversation between the teacher and the student is boring and meaningless because when the students is dictracted and talkative, the teacher have to know the best style for this students.

I would like to be in my class because I’m a pacient, responsable, creative and I love to teach.

I remember when i was in the college for my, the accounting and the french were very clear and easy and for this reason when we had a test, my classmates studied with me.

Each teacher  are different, each one have your form to teach, but always is good known the different styles, dynamics, ideas, methods the each person.

There are excellent teachers, bads, creatives, interesting… but the important is the students gain the knowledge;

I consider each one are your own teacher!!!

I think The Blooms Taxonomy is a technique very used in the high school  and the college, because when the teacher want to explain a new theme he has to help the students to remember what they already or possibly know about this theme. For example in order to see a new topic, you need to know the basic information about otherwise you won’t understand. Because when they “learn” is necessary for the student to have all the tools.

The Bloom´s taxonomy can be use for many people, because is a technique very complete and have many tools for the people to understand a new theme that can be present it in the way of a book, a movie, a song, a video, etc.

For example :

TOPIC: FAMILY MEMBERS AND POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS (elementary school)

1.-REMEMBER AND UNDERSTANDING: Ask the students about their family members and the way they are related with them, if they understand their connections between each other:: “I am my mom’s son / I am my uncle’s nice.

2.-APPLYING: ask them to make pairs and talk to each other about their family members

3.-ANALYZING do you see the difference between mother and grandmother? The student can make a list of differences between this two members and compare them with his partner

4.-EVALUATING can they name a list the possessive pronouns they use to refer to the different family members: They can make a role-play where talk about this topic using the possessive pronouns

5.-CREATING draw a family tree where explain your relationship, using the possessive pronouns, with your family members.

How can knowing your learning styles and intelligences help you as a teacher?

I think is very important to know my learning styles and multiple intelligences and know about their characteristics because I can teach better and put different activities following my styles, for example my learning styles are the kinesthetic, visual/optical and intrapersonal for this reason I can teach better with videos, photos, movies, puzzle, images, memoriam…
How important is it to know the learning styles and needs of your learners?

I feel good because now I know that if I would like to know the learning styles and needs of my students, I can use these test with them.

When they finish the test, I can analyze what are the most styles or multiple intelligences that exist in the classroom and with these results teach with the styles needed..

I know that each student is different but there is always or exist many activities for to use, that can help me to reach all and each of them.

When there are more kinesthetic students, I can use puzzle, objects, memoriam, presentations.

When there are more visual/optical students, I can use videos, movies, graphics, concepts maps, Overview…

When there are more linguistic students, I can use songs, stories, etc.

It is the result of extensive research and ongoing work on communicative objectives, as exemplified by the popular ‘Threshold level’ concept. Is an association of institutions within Europe, each of which produces examinations and certification for language learners.

Purposes

Its main aim is to provide a method of assessing and teaching which applies to all languages in Europe.

*comprises six main levels

*To establish common standards for all stages of the language-testing process and to adhere to those standards: that is, for test development, task and item writing, test administration, marking and grading, reporting of test results, test analysis and reporting of findings

Teaching Applications

The CEFR is of particular interest to course designers, textbook writers, testers, teachers and teacher trainers – in fact to all who are directly involved in language teaching and testing.
It facilitates a clear definition of teaching and learning objectives and methods and provides the necessary tools for assessment of proficiency.

The ALTE  “Can Do” project developed a simplified set of 400+ descriptors for language examinations which relate to the Common Reference Levels.

4.-After I saw all the links I chose the voki because I consider it like a practice game for little kids to learn and have fun at the same time. And this will help them to speak English without feeling fear and nervous. Also this game helps the students to put more attention and concentrate better when the teacher teach.

This game o activity helps the teacher when he wants to make different images o vokis, and with this vokis he can teach many themes and he can use many vokis for each theme.

Example: the teacher wants the students learn about the animal’s names or jobs, he can use the vokis, and each voki will be a different animal or different job.

1.-I liked a lot the literature circles because I haven’t been in this activity.

It is a kind of a strategy for makes the students pay attention and have fun too.

It is essential that the students know the different roles that they can do or to interpret them right.

It’s important that when the students are reading the story or your specific materials, they use the different subskills in reading for example: scanning, predicting, reading for gist, inferring… if they can do these functions they’ll speak with coherence, by using the conjunction and cohesion of words in their writing.

I think to use for explain the news themes for the students:

*The concept maps

* Overview

* Graphs

With this forms I can explain the family, the verbs, the numbers, the time, the animals, the fruits, the places and the different themes after to read for example a story.

Also I can use when the students see the movies, a trip. Because this graphic organizers are very fun, easy, colorfuls, fast, remembered for the studets when making tests.

example: when the students read a story about the fruits, the teacher asks that fruits were reading.
